Gastric Band

Gastric Band Surgery (LAP-Band)

Gastric banding is one of the most important procedures used to treat obesity, as it reduces the size of the stomach and thus the person feels full earlier and eats smaller amounts of food.

Gastric band procedure is characterized by its positive impact on all aspects of the patient’s life. It reduces the risk of health problems associated with obesity, such as diabetes, and from a psychological point of view, it increases the sense of self-confidence with the rapid weight loss that it achieves.

The gastric band procedure takes 1-2 hours, and it is a painless operation because it is done under general anesthesia, during which the stomach is tied by means of a rubber ring made of silicone, connected with a tool that is installed under the skin to pump or withdraw a saline solution to tighten or loosen the band.

If you suffer from obesity and diets and traditional methods fail to reduce your weight, you should consider gastric band as it is the appropriate solution that achieves the rapid weight loss you desire.
